For the “11th-five-year” period, Chinese Iron & Steel industry, though still being changing the worldwide industrial situation, will face the new developing environment because of technique updating, market complicacy, resource shortage and competition rise.

By following the principle of sustainable development and new-type industrialization, sticking to the target of “One-hundred-year JISCO lifetime”, accelerating the adjustment of product structure, developing the ability of competition and innovation, exploiting non-steel industry, JISCO will become a famous competitive enterprise in Iron & Steel industry of China.

Development target

For the main steel activity, JISCO will take the advantage of local resources, accelerate production adjustment and reasonably configuration the resources. The capability of steel making will be increased from 5 million tons in “10th-five-year” to 10 million tons by the end of “11th-five-year” to maintain and enhance JISCO’s current position and effect of being the largest Iron & Steel complex in Northwest China.

For the non-steel activity, JISCO will keep looking on development diversity, implement advanced management conception and system and quicken the growth of key auxiliary industries. JISCO will do its utmost to establish new economic drives in the field of trade, logistics, high-tech modern agriculture, etc.

JISCO will make the strategic investment or co-operational merge in the direction of bringing up those activities that are characterized with resource predominance or fast growth or complementary advantages. JISCO aims at becoming an international group enterprise in possession of investment & operation conception, culture content and influencing management force.

Development strategy

JISCO will implement the resource strategy, diversification strategy, differentiation strategy, extroversion strategy and capital strategy during “11th-five-year” period, in order to realize the overall strategy and lift its general power onto a higher stage.
